I don't really get it either. He's not really my cup of man-tea, but I don't understand the hatred. He's seemed kind of nervous and low-key on the couple episodes of The Voice I've seen.

Me too! This reminds me of that time on The Office when they played a video of Michael Scott as a child telling a puppet that he wanted like a hundred children when he grew up, so that they couldn't say no to being his friend. I wish she had real friends in her life.
Captain von Trapp didn't get no Medal of Honor for shooting blanks, amirite?
I was actually embarrassed for Carrie during her duet with Audra (although she did certainly bring this on herself). Why is Audra chasing her around the table?
She's not too old to enjoy a good old cardboard box, imo. But then, I also grew up in another age and another income bracket.
What she lacks in articulation, she makes up for in sincerity.
I rarely laugh out loud at stuff on the internet, but you totally just blew my no-really-I'm-working cover.
I don't understand how you write about my most hated thing to do in a way that's pleasant, interesting and funny.
I regret that I only have one star to give for this.
Sadly, I think the issues it addresses of women being taken seriously/getting respect in the workplace, finding a work-life balance, and being strong-willed without being called a bitch are as current now as they were then. Just with shoulder pads.
You just made yourself look like an idiot with zero reading comprehension, but no sympathy here, just another internet jackass who posted a stupid comment without reading the article (and who doesn't understand commas).
I read that as "shit i'm a deup" and I spent a long time wondering what a "deup" is or if it was some kind of acronym.
LOVE me some Octavia Spencer, but that's my problem with it also. The other remakes she referenced were actual remakes or continuations of the same world/idea, whereas this apparently just has a lady past romcom age who solves mysteries. Recycling the name seems cheap and actually makes me less excited about her…
That was my first thought too. I assume the headline refers to the experience as being horrifying for the snakes.
Fuck the clients, I'm concerned about the snakes. How can anyone find it a relaxing experience to be complicit in other living creatures' misery?
Sarah Jessica Parker tweets like my mom [would, if she knew how to tweet].
He's saying those things to himself, projected onto the puppy. Plus the puppy has literally no idea what he's saying.
Rand Paul caused this situation himself by lying about the plagiarism and attacking his critics, rather than taking responsibility. Then he proposed a halfass solution just to get people to leave him "the hell alone." That says a LOT about how he would govern.
The fact that you think that drivel makes any sense whatsoever is deeply troubling. You should probably run for office.
