As a fan of the WWZ film, I can’t recommend Train To Busan highly enough.

That would be SO good. I think about that book constantly, especially the part where they talk about how all the rich and famous people were pretty much worthless after society collapsed, and the most valued and needed people were the gardeners and janitors and cooks - read: IMMIGRANTS.

They should have just changed the title and it would be a perfectly adequate, well-made zombie action movie. As an adaptation it’s a big failure. Nobody who read the book likes the movie, especially because they now have the rights to the book so if someone did want to make a more faithful HBO mini-series adaptation…

But how many scarves will Brad Pitt wear in the sequel? Will he also make pancakes?

We weren’t allowed to play hip hop or rap music at my (rural, tiny) school dances, then my senior year the dress code was “black at white” and they were only going to play swing music (which 17 year olds TOTALLY LOVE).

My stepdaughter just had prom- I was mostly surprised by how all of the girls wore super short tight dresses- not what I would imagine to be prom like. She goes to a catholic school and they had no issues or requirements so I guess it greatly varies by area. All the girls also wore belly baring dresses to homecoming…
