Generally, freedom kind of stops when it encroaches on someone else.
That Rover 100 test caused something of a scandal for the company. The car was designed in the late ‘70s and launched as the Austin MiniMetro, then facelifted a few times.
Hi, I used to work on PEM-fuel cell h2-based cars (the control systems). The safety system here’s actually pretty good - hydrogen goes up if there’s a leak, and it burns as it goes up. Better than gasoline that stays on the ground and spreads around. There’s some debate on the Hindenburg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
Dude, no, just, no. You’re wrong. Touch screens are awful for driving.

Some people have to haul 100 landscaping bricks but don’t need to go offroad. Some people would like to fit tall things in their car (we have a hatched car…
I’m with you. It’s horrible, but it provided some comfort for many, and served its purpose very cheaply indeed. That’s good engineering.
"one says Lucas and one says AC Delco"
So what you're saying is that one works and one doesn't?
Diagnostic WITHOUT EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT: If there's a system in the car that can produce trouble codes, etc. (think OBDII; engine codes, ABS, transmission, whatever) the car should be able completely report the problems without buying something else.
The extra weight of the heater isn't the issue. Extra weight of the electrical systems needed to power it is, because of the high current draw.
It implies — correctly — that the car's target market has no idea what bespoke means.
