You can even do it on the hardest difficulty with the right abilities and perks. You become an unstoppable wrench-wielding maniac (I've actually done it, and it's quite amusing).
Yep. It really was awful. I tried the intro missions and it was pretty much a terrible Transformers ripoff. Except it wasn't supposed to be.
One of the key factors in System Shock 2's pace was the music. It really plugged straight into your brain and said "ADRENALINE, NOW" when it needed to.
It needs a remastering. A remake wouldn't work.
It's very much like becoming a better car driver after riding a motorcycle. Your situational awareness and your attitude to other road users is radically different.
I adored Third and IV. Saints Row never really hooked me. Saints Row 2 added GTA1/London levels of absurd humor. Saints Row The Third was just fun on a bun, and IV was batshit insane.

I bought the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution because it was a huge round of changes, additions, and streamlined the Missing Link DLC into the main game. You also got a huge discount for owning DXHR and TML.
The Fallout universe used its very distinctive retro-futuristic cars as a sign of how far civilization had fallen. Cars were chopped in half and the rear halfs used like carts. Very few were running, and none looked anything like the ones in this video.
