Isn't the middle and right images what most of these products looked like in the 80's and early 90's before companies just started to plaster graphics on the labels?

Was there a reason to make a new model passed the ti-83 series? New modes can just be downloaded. Interchangeable faceplates are just dumb, it is a calculator. As for the specs, it is mostly just the 83 + silver edition.
