I know...it is so tough to protect yourself. My image is copywritten but even so, it’s not the only “impeach peach” out there. I’ve seen a lot of copies of my artwork but they usually just show up on people’s protest signs and are not for sale.

I did! The cartoonist was really great — he told me how he found the poster (which wasn’t a huge surprise, since I gave away about 500 downloads before the various marches and my art made it onto a bunch of those “Best Protest Signs” lists) and now he follows me on IG and says he loves my acerbic sense of humor. :)

Not sure how I could..? I’m usually all about the credit and compensation, but in this particular case I’m just considering it an honor that my artwork is now part of the Zeitgeist.

My poster showed up on a few different “Best Protest Signs” lists (Time Out NY, Time Out Los Angeles, and the New York Post) so I’m not totally surprised. But I wrote to the cartoonist to ask him and he said he Googled “awesome protest signs” looking for one that was good but not offensive and mine jumped out at him.…

May I celebrate for a moment?? My artwork showed up in the background of a New Yorker cartoon this week!!!! No big deal...just the culmination of a lifelong dream and the coolest thing ever. Ever ever.

It doesn’t sound so much like a “all women stay home” thing as it is a plan to boycott businesses or entities that don’t support their communities or women in general. And I love that idea.
