I played a pirate version of this game (2 or 3 hs) i didn´t liked it so i didn´t buy it.
On the other hand Stardew Valley...

usually when games get too competitive i stop playing.

i had this glitch MANY times.

i think the big difference is not seeing the walls when using the Rift, that will suck.
