Ah yes, I am an abhorrent monster because I don’t want tankie hot takes bundled with updates on new cars

You need to keep that car forever. Teach her to drive in it. Give it to her when she goes to college. Brass baby slippers got nothing on this car. You can literally give her the room where it happened. Sure, once she understands she may never sit in that seat again, but a minor disadvantage...

This. This is why I keep coming back to Jalopnik. Because even amid the shit political takes no one asked for, you guys publish interesting, relatable and thoughtful pieces on why all of us are irrationally attached to depreciating metal death machines on wheels

This is the most touching story I’ve ever (or will ever, probably) read about a Toyota Highlander.

Boy, that’s a lot of slabside...

I was thinking the same thing. But when I harken back to my days of selling Fords in the 90s, I remember how indifferent buyers were towards the Explorer Sport, which was just a 2 door Explorer. Unfortunately not—we follow search engine optimization guidelines that require your focus keyword to be in the headline. I know it's frustrating! It is unfortunately the way the online cookie crumbles.

The road to hell, and mediocre design, is paved with the opinions of focus groups.

Honda Ridgeline sales were up nine percent last year, to 33,334, which might be good except Ford sold 896,526 F-Series last year. And so Honda’s bet, I guess, is that it can peel off some fraction of those buyers and Silverado and Ram buyers.”

Now that Andrew is leaving I’m 1 Torchinsky and 1 Tracy away from never visiting this site again

Kia Soul has joined the chat.
