I feel like I haven’t ever read much in the way of positive reviews with regard to how hub-center steering ‘feels’ to ride. So, while it may be lighter and such forth, the feedback aspect of it I’ve only heard to be ‘lacking’.

I’m glad I read this first, because I almost fulfilled the obligatory rage’y forum guy position for this post.

For a guy that doesn’t ride (me), lanesplitter has been fantastic. I think the best way to describe it is that the content has made motorcycles feel very ‘accessible’, wherein so many ways they are still such a foreign entity to me — which is partly why I love watching motorcycle racing so much. Lanesplitter (you)

I think my language is failing me.

All that said, I feel there’s a touch more similarity to the E9X generation M3 sedan — proportionally-speaking. And, along those lines, one must admit there are striking similarities, the (F80?) included.

Anyone else notice that in the ‘200MPH’ scene the back alley road that the GT-R crashed on suddenly becomes a major 4 lane road with lots of traffic when it cuts to him being dragged out of the car?

“...but this car is absolutely worth your attention anyways.”

One of the photography interns had to be let go for this. Or given 20 lickings from an unrolled 35mm canister.

I can’t wait until the faux vented paneling reaches the trunk lid. Then we can have ricers finding ways to mimic the look of a ‘radiator in the rear’ and be all GRC/FormulaDrift/Hoonigan STATUS!!!@*)(&%^

COTD.

Are ‘track day toys’ by obligation supposed to be roofless? I guess a fully enclosed cabin is more weight, so slight infraction on performance blah blah blah, but really, is it so wrong to dream of a vehicle to romp on a circuit with ....that maybe doesn’t require pristine days so as not to get swamped out in your own

To eRR is BMW’s business plan.

So, I’ve allowed myself to stew over this for the sake of trying to remove any possible knee-jerk (or just jerk) reactions, and I’d like to put forward a couple “what ifs”.

And apparently the essence of a luchadore was a necessary element to revolutionize the sportbike industry.

Predominantly blacked-out, meshed, diffused, bare carbon back ends are the automotive equivalent to thigh gap. With that stated, I would just like to say, “...I want this.”

With MotoGP being liter bikes again, and with 2016 beginning the ECU restrictions across the board, I feel like this would be an optimal time for this concept to be resurrected. Anybody got a few million they want to loan me? I’ll gladly run this team. :)

I believe it turned out to be an engineering nightmare, but with enough race support, it could perform well and reliably (enough).

That’s a nice Mazda6 you got there.

I agree that a sentiment with the NA water-cooled 911 will become the Gen-X/Y/MillenHipsterial’s version of the love for the air-cooled 911.

The proportions look ...awful. And is that front end all one piece sans the headlights? That’s ...nice.
