Nothing good here. In 4 years when he loses what makes anyone think he will step down peacefully? His party has already shown they don’t give a fuck about our democratic institutions by refuses to even hold hearings for the vacant SC seat. This is turning into the saddest day in Western history.

I was feeling that way until an hour ago. Now I’m trying to prepare for the possibility people are going to be openly racist and drag us back to the 1950's. I’m terrified of all the rights we’re going to lose. My heart hurts.

The problem is not so much that Donald Trump would be an awful President and set the country back - he would. But it would be really hard for any one man to truly destroy the country no matter how hard he tries. Especially when a substantial part of his own party despises him.
