I see. Well, I'm still waiting for a FF VII remake, but I wouldn't suggest a group of fans make it for me and everyone else waiting for it, because it'll just be a waste of their time no matter how well it's done, if not given the SE seal of approval.

I'm probably in the minority, but I can understand Sega protecting their IPs. Free, fan-made homages are great, but it can be done without ripping off the game entirely. If these devs are good enough to redesign the game in HD, I'm sure they have enough talent to make their game unique enough so that it doesn't

I have. I use Expedia and Travelocity all the time. Good thing they allow people like me to cancel, which I've done on many occasions, as well.

after reading the rest of the article. i now get the intentional typo ;)

This proves that Kinect can interface with the PS3 and KZ3, but also proves Kinect doesn't work for shooters. The video was excruciating to watch. I was hoping someone else would end it and come in getting an easy kill off a guy aiming at ceilings.

Kind of, kill less trees save on more air to breath.

Must have gotten all his practice from Home poker tables.

Interesting read. I have a friend who creates Facebook games, but he's more on the Flash/ActionScript side of things. He's an awesome graphics designer. The good ones are usually employed, since they're so hard to find. They're also the ones most overlooked, since people think anyone can just design good UIs and

There are quite a few movies from the 90s and present that are similar to those 80s movies - minus the styles, cultural references, etc. of the times, of course. Many of them are B-movies that go straight to video. I catch some on Netflix sometimes when I'm bored and just perusing their library, but I think they go

I must have Parasite Eve again.

Despite the lack of journalistic integrity, I think the main point is that it's obviously hypocritical.

I'd have to agree. Hotz chose fame over getting a job. There were also rumors years ago that Dark Alex the infamous PSP hacker had talks with Sony, possibly for settlement money or job offers - we'll never know. Hotz chose poorly, but at least he can give rapping a shot. Maybe he can form a rap group with Joaquin

I've played the PC version. It's very kid-friendly to say the least, but still fun. A part of me feels this is what Home should have been or at least should have evolved into.

Of topic, but what happens when a zombie runs out of people to eat? They can't exactly starve to death, right?

The band has apologized and switched uniforms. In other news, their next gigs will be at Nanking and Bataan dressed as Imperial Japanese military.

I read it more literally. He doesn't feel piracy is theft by definition. But it's really open to moral interpretation and territorial laws, which is why it's such a long-running debate. Morals vs. Ethics, "Copyright Infringement" vs. "Theft". Some people feel copyright infringement is just plagiarism, others feel it's

It's legal to make a backup copy of a game you own under fair use, but it's illegal to circumvent copy protection. It's a Catch-22.

I can see your point having relevance on the basis of morality, however ethically it is illegal. Our society has already set legal precedence and has deemed piracy to be copyright infringement, which is just another form of theft.
