Oh I definitly agree with that! That’s a good point. I know one great pediatrician, he’s got a seperate waiting room for these cases but I guess it’s not ideal.

Yes, yes it was the sugar. I did my internship at an infant ward in a children hospital (1 month - 1 year). We used sugar as an anesthetic when drawing blood or doing LPs (lumbal puncture). Give the kids a drop of liquid glucose or put it on their pacifier and they calm down in a second.

I don’t like that approach, though. No offense to your mom, but here is my reasoning (it’s from another comment I made on a post on Jezebel where a kid died because the parents went to a neuropath even though the child had meningitis, I think):

Man, I recently had the biggest and loudest discussion that I have ever had with my friends exactly about this topic, or homeopathy in general, really. We’re all about to start our residencies. One of us, while not being pro-homeopathy entirely, was definitly ok with it existing and having his patients treated by

Jeremy Lin got old and white(-ish) really fast

That may be right, but hiring the same coaches over and over again, thinking something will change, is insanity.

I wouldn’t call that as a ref. No way a guy like Harden actually pushes a guy of Iggy size with that little push. Also apparently they were ok with physical play when Bogut tugged at Howards shoulder and when Green wrestled (I believe) Beasly at the end of the game.

Brandon Weeden begs to differ

Dumb-ass

I don’t know if this switch was intended by SVG. It seemed more like Jackson went rogue. He became so frustrated during the fourth, you could see the anger in his face and he tried to do way too much to revenge himself.

The Hornets looked so lost starting at the tipoff. They took weird shots, couldn’t get open, nothing worked for them. Zeller is not a good fit playing against a team with Whiteside. He knows he never does not really have to cover him on rolls or any other time really.

Really? That’s horrible! I didn’t want to diminish that problem at all, it’s just that suicide is so prevalent, that it wasn’t clear that it is a greater problem in indigenous youth from your initial post.

Well suicide is the second/third leading cause in that age group overall. It’s pretty much on par with homicide in the US and I’d guess it’s second overall in most other developed nations. Teens/Mid20s mostly either die from accidents or suicide. I'm sure it's bad for Native but seeing suicide this high in mortality

yeah right, chances are a former NFL defensive end/future FBI agent could take almost anybody in a physical confrontation. this would've probably ended up completely different if it weren't for guns

Birmingham at 34.???

I agree he deserves mockery for not playing D, but why does Deadspin defend a center that can’t make a FT? It’s an important part of basketball as well.

The face of a man who lost money on a bet.

Yeah, that makes no sense, sorry google.

Damn Kinja, won’t let me edit my previous post!
