Cowboy Beebop - Tank! by the Seatbelts

Its.... not even close.

I really hope this doesn’t become the “GUNS SOLVE EVERYTHING” anthem that the people with pickup trucks with stars-and-stripes-colored Punisher skulls in the rear window hope it will be.

Haven’t read the article yet because spoilers, but just here to say I loved the heck out of season 1, love the heck out of our characters, but hell... this season has felt a lot like the Farm season of Walking Dead (also a season 2 if I recall).

Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element is second only to Caddyshack as the most quotable film of all time.

I stopped reading Bombshells but it is a great series and I need to catch up again. Hadn’t realized it ended. I am sure this will be just as amazing.

Has a 97% fresh on Rotten and a lot of the reviews are from bigger publications.

A hatch? Avengers/Lost crossover confirmed!

I mentioned this on another thread, but when Stan Lee was talking to the Watchers, I wish he had said something like: “ok, now stay with me on this, what if...?”

I lost my shit when Stan Lee showed up surrounded by a bunch of Watchers!! Is Uatu a part of the Fantastic Four licence?, since none of the Watchers was named...

Legacy was worth it for the production value alone. The visuals and the sounds were exceptional, and even the scenes filmed in the real world were exceptionally atmospheric. The film is like a concept art book come to life.

Dammit. The sequels keep coming and they don’t stop coming. I should known have that series would keep running. Did it make sense just to think they’re done?  The films make cash but each one’s more dumb.

“All right, now, we’re going to punch these guys so hard that words describing the impact will spontaneously appear in mid air.” Best line of the movie.

I give zero fucks about Transformers: Fun At Medieval Times.

I love the lead-in to your quote: “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.”

“Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.”

Josh Gad is an annoying no-talent hack. He is not me.

“Tom Hardy might star in Wes Anderson’s Pinocchio.”

Stan Lee is immortal... his contract with the Mephisto requires him to make these cameos until the end of time.

I still think Viggo Mortensen would have been good. And pretty much every other cast member would have been better in the role. That they went sooooo safe with the casting is sad.

. . .Even for a site devoted to science fiction and fantasy, there needs to be some grounding in reality, sir.
