Just as a disclaimer, I dont own an Xbox or Playstation, so I dont really have a horse in this “race”, but I think that it can be useful to consider reasons why you might see this kind of brand loyalty with xbox/playstation fans.

A games console is a big investment. Most people have to make a very considered decision

Yeh I didnt really like the first series, and I didnt love it’s version of master chief. It wasnt a major deal to me that they show his face. He takes his helmet off lots of times in the games, you just dont see it. If there was a lore reason for him to keep his helmet on all the time then they could manage that just

hmmm i get what you’re saying, but i will kind of like to put a bit of emphasis on how they were trying to have some fun with it, and while the results didnt all look better, some of them did and there was certainly some potential.

This isn’t some random fan making shitty images of Mario in Photoshop for a few laughs on Reddit.”

...PokeDecks

mate same here, i’ve spent so much on that asset store

mmmmm its still not always that easy to tie all your systems to a super accurate clock.  Computer programs like to work in cycles. With general applications thats normally cpu cycles, but with games there’s normally a lot of processes which work in a “do this on every frame” kind of way.  Not easy to change it.   I do

Oooof I dunno.

Ashley handles herself far better than I would, given the situation she’s in!

In relation to point number 3, could it be that lesbian is perceived as the most “safe” kind of LGBTQ? I dont think i’ve played any game where the main protagonist is a gay male (unless it comes down to optional romance options). I’m actually not sure I’ve played a game where the main protagonist is a straight female

scrambled eggs all over my face.  what is a boy to do

a man’s gotta game at the end of the day, even Kenny

Yeh the way sony hordes spiderman is a pain in the ass

I find that for me, more than anything I find the sets/environments really underwhelming in comparison to the games. That and the action.

Abbie was dope, but I do disagree that Joel was a shitty person.  He’s not what I’d call a hero, but I think that most of his decisions are more or less justified by context.  The ethics of Joel is one of those discussions I always enjoy

In the game, bill played a comparatively small role, and you dont actually meet frank.  Bill was a much more annoying character in my opinion.

who would you kill?

who would you kill?

I get ya, but at the end of the day, the guys a Youtuber. He makes youtube videos as a job, and that’s what he likes to do. We all work for money, and if someone can find a way to go to work doing something that they both enjoy, and that helps people, I cant fault it. My dad’s a joiner and somehow he’s managed to make

More power to you for having that opinion my friend. I disagree though, I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

I actually disagree that Joel is a monster (idolized or otherwise), and thats one of the things I love about the Last of Us. It seems that peoples perceptions of the characters/events vary so much based on perspective.
