Being a former academic and ardent intersectional feminist with strong pro-worker sympathies, I thought I was basically a godless commie.

Sanders could barely stand mild criticism of his policy and record from Clinton or reporters. He walked out of at least one interview in which he was asked about the Burlington College fiasco.

Bernie could only have won the primary if women and minorities weren’t allowed to vote.

Yes. But I’ll add that Sanders’ success is because the country has moved to the left. His campaign would have failed miserably in the early stages if he had run 10 or 15 years ago.

The Bernie boosters here are forgetting that Sanders’ campaign apparatus was a joke. The reason Clinton’s maintained a lead over Trump throughout the general election and weathered Emailghazi & the CF faux scandal is that she has a SUPERB campaign team.

True! He was one of the exceptions. There were at least three variations on the question, “why can’t you guys be nice?”

Most slang words are just variations of “cool” or “uncool”. “On fleek” is a compliment so I think it’s just another way of saying “cool”.

The Daily Dot says the live audiences are kind of a political favor each campaign hands out to supporters and donors:

I just read this morning that the Trump campaign tried to seat Bill Clinton’s accusers in the Trump family box, which was right next to the Clinton box. They were trying to force a confrontation on live, national TV.

They shouldn’t be allowed to ask questions at these townhall debates. Undecided voters this late in an election are the least informed voters. They really should choose partisans who are more likely to ask really sharp questions of the candidates.

People on Twitter were taken with his name, which kinda sounds like “Can bone”. But a lot of it probably had to do with his appearance, unfortunately.

Someone on Twitter noted that the people on the stage with the candidates were undecided voters. But there was an audience surrounding them that was full of Clinton and Trump supporters, who were doing the cheering.

Apparently the GOP has suspended spending on the Trump campaign and will redirect that money to saving their Senate majority. This news (if true) made me so happy:

I read analysis from a body language expert on another site that suggested Trump was employing aggressive, fighter’s body language:

You shouldn’t. They’re pretty good for the price point. I’ve had flats from her brand that lasted for-fucking-ever.

One of Clinton’s literal stump speech lines is to talk about how she is going to fight hard for the American people and that she won’t ever quit or give up.

Trump would be more like Tiberius or Caligula. Caeser was at least a good politician and military man.

He was like an antsy eight-year-old forced to wait for mom to finish her talk with the boring neighbor lady who’s really into healthcare policy.

Maybe this is just a (known?) shady landlord thing because mine was a retired white guy.

Has anyone tried throwing salt on him though?
