Trump does have a face like a relaxed anus. Just look at his mouth!

You’ve got to take your surprise joys when you can.

What else am I supposed to do in the middle of the day? Work?

There’s a fine line between pleasure and pain.

Yeah, but Mike Pence always looks like that. He’s got a face like a puckered anus (not a nice, relaxed one).

hehehehe

Given the above-listed appearances and interviews she’s given to outlets that cover roughly the same demographic that Jezebel does, what advantage would doing an interview here offer her? I know you guys would love the attention, but there are more disadvantages to advantages in appearing here.

I don’t think that’s obvious at all. Jez has a long history of publishing contrarian/controversial and non-feminist hot takes. It is certainly not in the same boat as The Toast, for example, which was always consistently pro-women and pro-feminist.

Yep, meanwhile they themselves will remain in denial about how Trump is the natural consequence of decades of establishment Republican hatemongering.

Trump supporters are impervious to reality so I bet they’ll consider it a triumph no matter what happens.

Yeah, the troll who is touting a single poll in a blue state is a moron. Aggregated state-level polls in all the battleground states look great for Clinton.

I read something the other day about how a sinking ship loses rats, but attracts sharks.

Exactly. Trump’s base may even be discouraged from turning out because he keeps telling them the election is rigged. Why bother to vote if the outcome is predetermined?

Historically, mid-August is right around when the polls start becoming more predictive of the outcome of the election. We’re long past the post-convention bounce period.

As if that would ever happen. Democrats are a bunch of Eeyores and Chicken Littles on their best days. (Yes, I’m being complacent about our lack of complacency). The president warned us not to be overly confident just the other day:

There were probably more references to Reagan at the DNC than the RNC. Reagan’s brand of optimistic, less batshit conservatism is no longer what the GOP is peddling.

Bingo. That’s how Giuliani and co. will defend these remarks. It’s not a slip-up—he’s been saying something like this for years.

Have you ever noticed how George W. Bush is never mentioned anymore by either Republicans or the media? Even Democrats don’t talk about him much. It’s like there was no president between Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
