I think Fuches’ way too convenient escape was pretty much symbolic, if not just to us, but mainly for Barry. The real world aspect of how he got away from the cops is insignificant. Fuches has been the one person who has been there for Barry no matter what ever since he got out of the service. To Barry, Fuches is

I mean, I agree that that’s the kind of delusional bullshit the characters you named are spinning for themselves, but you become something by working at it, not just telling the world and yourself repeatedly that you are that. And Janice had Barry’s number: He’s a fucking murderer.

He is a very bad person.  Come on.  He’s done some horrible things and killing Moss alone makes him someone who s/b in prison for life.

That daughter alien/gargoyle is still out there....

I feel like the strength of Gene’s opinion is somewhat compromised by Barry neglecting to tell him that he shot Gene’s girlfriend in the fucking head in order not to face legal consequence for the considerable number of other murders he committed, which, I cannot emphasise this enough, is a heroic goal to you.

Please be kidding. I see so many people unironically rationalise Barry’s murder spree away I can’t even tell any more.

I think that's just LA for you.

Also, I think you could easily make an argument that this episode in fact proves that Barry is *not* a “good person,” since he takes further contracted killings with a corrupt police officer instead the moral, ethical thing to do, which would be to turn himself in rather than murder more people in exchange for freedom

Lily turning full-demon child on Barry and Fuches was both the most hilarious and horrifying thing I’ve seen on TV in a long time.

“Little girl! Hey I don't mean to sound like a creep, but would you get in the car with me and my buddy? I've got Corn Nuts."

This episode was gloriously absurd and I loved every minute of it even if it seemingly came out of nowhere. My two main takeaways:

1. Barry got through this whole clusterfuck without actually killing anybody, so maybe he actually CAN move on with his life and become a relatively normal person pursuing a dead end acting

How long have you been waiting to use that line?

I think the police officer who Fuches crashed into was Loach.

This was the first thing I thought of when that girl started beating Barry’s ass:

The titular “What?!” of last week’s episode and pretty much the entirely of this week has been the hardest I’ve laughed at this show in a walk.

To the countless critics that wrote that Barry didn’t need a second season and could really not bring anything new to the table:

My favorite line was when Barry, surveying that room full of Taekwondo awards, and realizing the deep shit he’s in, turns around and says “Oh you’ve got medals too!”

I wonder if they planned that somehow to be also ridiculous enough to follow GoT. Like they knew this episode of Game was gonna be everything going ape shit, then they figured, “Hey, let’s do maybe one of the most ludicrous fights in the history of any tv show. Only makes sense.”

This felt like a Coen Brothers Movie.

This was fantastic. It reminded me a lot of “Fly” - although the action moved across several locations, there was still the same sense of an increasingly absurd situation that the character just can’t seem to extricate himself from. Yes, it was very absurd, but the since S1 the show has hinted somewhat at Barry’s
