It’s kind of bizarre how EVERYONE seems to know about Section 31 here, when in DS9 they took years to find out what was up with them. Unless they’re going into some kind of storyline that forces them to be forever underground in the future, it’s a baffling choice.

They totally retconned Section 31 in this episode. A originally presented in DS9, Section 31 is a super-clandestine organization. They operate outside any laws and don’t report to anybody. Between Parks & Rec, Lady Dynamite, Broad City, The Good Place, Forever, and Another Period, Jen Statsky’s past six year run has been frickin’ absurd. Definitely gonna be one of those folks that I’ll try anything she’s attached to going forward just by association alone.

I thought this one was pretty terrific, with series-best performances from almost everyone in the cast (except Doug Jones, who had that last week).

Once upon a time, Microsoft tried to make an iPod competitor. As much as we make fun of it, it was generally considered a worthy attempt, but iPods were so hyped at the time that its standing as second banana wasn’t enough for Microsoft to justify continuing to develop and sell the player.

It was even weirder finding this on Youtube after seeing him in The Thick Of It. He wrote and directed this film back in '93 .

That’s almost a reversal example - it was weird seeing Capaldi go from The Thick of It to Doctor Who.

Shows that exist on both sides of the “FX/FXX no longer censors language” divide seem so bizarre to me. Hearing characters say fuck constantly after 4 years of PG-13ish language is odd.
