Major seemed like the main character? I just don’t get that at all.

Liv as a human smuggler is probably my favorite storyline for her since the beginning of the show. She has always felt very secondary for a main character. For most of the show, Major was ostensibly the lead character.

Them jeans are basically painted on Dalton. Yumbers.

I feel like this show will never be as good as season one, which came out of the gate just gonzo and delightful.

I see it less as ignoring or missing the bigger picture and more of using readily available examples to touch on how fucked the current situation is for cheerleaders. I’m not sure she needs to outright acknowledge that both players and cheerleaders are treated like property to make a constructive point.

Thank god we have a victim-blaming man’s opinion here! I mean, if only she’d look into it a bit more, she’d see that the men have it just as bad! Oh well, what more can we expect from some “moron” who just wants to be treated like a human being?

In her full interview with NPR, she said the Saints told her, “There are a 100 dancers willing to do your job for free.” She specifically mentioned that she was cheerleading for the Saints to advance her dance career, and was not given the ability to promote her work equally as an artist or athlete in the

The number of times that I have been told or have witnessed another female dancer be told, “There are a 100 other women waiting to do your job for free,” are countless because I have never bothered to count them. It’s ubiquitous. If you are a dancer (especially a ballet dancer), you spend your entire life being

You forgot Jimi to Woodstock. Motown didn’t need MJ though, you got that backwards.

If this is it for the show, I hope they stick the landing.

If they do come back for a forth season they should get Mia from the Evil Dead remake as part of the cast to bring things full circle again. (Unless of course there’s a bunch of gobbledygook regarding the rights to that movie as well)

I said yesterday the White Coachella rich kids didn’t deserve DC, but we did. Beyoncé is the first Black woman to headline the fest, and it’s 2018. She could have come out and just done her hit list. She chose to make it the Blackest performance Coachella has ever seen. The dancers, her guests, and the band were all

We had a client not long ago who said she didn’t care for Beyonce after that “super political Super Bowl” performance, scoffing and rolling her eyes as she said it. In the next breath, she waxed poetic and starry-eyed about the Gaga concert in our town this past fall. I was at that concert and it was political as

I’m reading Der Nasse Fisch, the book on which Babylon Berlin is (somewhat loosely) based on. I got HOOKED on the series while I was on leave, and really wanted to read it in the original German. So that’s what I’m going through right now. Work is getting in the way (booooooo) but I’m having fun keeping my German up

RIGHT????

Hold on a second, we’re actuAlly applauding a HOMELESS Girl Scout troop for selling thousands of boxes of cookies, for a million dollar enterprise where they get nothing to help them find a home?

How bad is it that my brain went, “wonder how much Cosby’s PR guys got paid to organise this bullshit...”

In just a few short years, the autograph girl will be exactly his type. Great parenting, pink shirt. Really just stellar.

So, it’s about damn time that Mary Shelley is getting the film treatment.

I did a paper on her and learned that people liked to save their loved ones body parts. Hearts, hair, skin once the loved one died. She had an abundance of creepy crap to be inspired by. Nonetheless, she birthed the sci-fi genre. She’s the boss

Wow.
