I’ve tried other pretty serious retinoids (Dr. Brandt), and didn’t have any problems. But if you’re worried about it, I’ve heard it helps to start by putting it on after your moisturizer. And only use it every 2/3 days until your skin gets used to it. Also, lots of sunscreen.
