Her parents are looking for her and his parents don’t do one thing but get a lawyer. They knew what he’d done and they picked their side. I believe nothing they say.

This woman posted her life on Instagram and so people felt like they “knew” her- they’re was a connection. After she disappeared those that had never heard of her could get to know her post-death.

I think it’s because this case is a little weird: she’s an influencer (aka someone who tries to present the best possible version of her life), the fiancée comes back without her, doesn’t say a word about where she might be, and then disappears.

Probably because the only other word in English that ends in “ccer” is “soccer” and we’re used to the “vaks” sound from “vaccine”, so “vaccer” creates a conflict between what it looks like it should sound like (“vakker”) and what we want to say (“vakser”).
