Sure do, I had one back in the day. You could drive the thing with your right foot buried pretty much constantly. Unturbo'd with about 44hp, it was fun keeping momentum up.

it's about a month early in the Pacific Northwest

Seems as though it will be a futile gesture though, Clarkson was reported to have talked about wanting to do one last run in the test track after being sacked.

thanks, cheque is in the mail

XCar is an excellent You Tube channel, really nice mix of 'normal' car reviews and features on vehicles, museums, people, etc.

I've driven them on the highway at speed and been passed by semi's and they are effect less than my old Bug would have been. None of things you mention would happen, what will happen is you will develop an instant loathing of the gearbox which ruins what could be a fun car to drive.

Cool...........I had a Pill Cam endoscopy last week, not convinced the overall experience was less pleasant than a normal endoscopy but, like the fart pill thing here, it should prove to be a better diagnostic tool.

I did this 3 years ago with Bell & Rogers. in Canada. I had 2 years left of a contract with Bell, a crappy phone and incredibly bad reception in my house. After going round and round in circles with Bell I visited a Rogers store to see what they had to offer me. They offered me $600 and a free phone to move both mine

I remmber driving back from a family holiday and the exhaust promptly fell off about 70 miles from home. We had been driving for about 3-4 hours so the exhaust was incredibly hot. Amazingly my dad was able to fix it with a tin can and some hose clamps.

Yeh, I've heard they are good on economy but the engines are thrashy and a little underpowered though.

Interesting, I'm contemplating changing my 07 Sante Fe for a smaller crossover. Top of my list has been the Tiguan, followed by the CX-5 or Forester, but all used. The Tiguan is potentially a little small, the CX-5 a little big and the Forester may be a little too thirsty.......................decisions, decisions,

Er, how about the failed suspension was the cause of the balding tire because there was a longstanding issue with the suspension?

By the looks of that tire, there had been an issue for a while

with the taste and texture of paint

looking at the menu, which doesn't list desserts, and based on the entree prices I'd say its probably around $10-15. Its not a particularly expensive restaurant.

It's not changed, still a crime riddled shithole

That's not proper first or business class, crappy internal flights have slightly larger chairs and more leg room. International Business class is significantly better...........5 course meals, free booze, champagne, larger screens and, on some airlines, massage seats.

It's gone, there has been too much pressure for them to not act now.

I like the Grauniad in general, however those articles make my blood boil
