I've felt that this season has been pretty good so far, they seem to have taken out a large chunk of the 'obviously' faked/humour stuff and have kept things relatively simple.

I particularly enjoy the rear view

They don't look too bad persay, its more how the increased ride height was achieved, thus buggering up the handling, that made them hate worthy.

I remember watching this at the time and trying to compete with the kid, from the comfort of my couch.

Since when has 30 been middle aged?

Hundreds of buses and trucks drive up the road everyday, this is a one off so a little drastic to cut the trees down. They make that street quite attractive during spring, summer and fall/autumn.

Not the branches, its the actual trunk of the tree that the bus hit. I'm not surprise the roof was smashed off, the trees are large and solid, the roof lightweight aluminium with little to no structural strength other than to stay upright and keep peoples heads dry.

This happened outside my old office! Trimming the tree will not help, the trees lean into the road (you can see them growing at an angle in the video), and there is a sign before the trees warning not to drive high sided vehicles in that lane. Rookie bus driver I reckon.

Must have been used very early on in Lotus history as they have been in Norfolk since 1966.

For location yes, for actual racing no as its generally very boring with little over taking

Never a fan of the early Picasso's, the current C4 Picasso is great though

Thats the Mk1, you should check out the current models especially the DS variants!

The more curved model was the revised version, the Sterling was the US variant of the original Rover 800

Oh, yeah both excellent cars. I think the engines are essentially the same as well.

Skoda was '82-'89 which is about the right timing for my parents purchase of the 135 RiC.

The one in my photo is an RS Turbo, driven by Mike Smith (deceased ex-BBC Radio 1 DJ and race car driver) at the Wilhire 24 Hours at Snetterton. I was there and he won the race.

Yeah I knew both Lada & Skoda made it to Canada. My parents bought a Skoda Rapid 135 RiC in the UK which was a model with fuel injection specifically for the Canadian market but I think the importer when bankrupt so they ended up in the UK. I wasn't sure when they actually entered the Canadian market though, could you

Great piece. You say that it would be unlikely for the Japanese side to have Third Reich vehicles and vice versa and compare it to Soviet vehicles in NY at the height of the Cold War, however Soviet block countries were exporting vehicles globally from the 50's/60's onwards. They might not have made it to North

Here are a couple of photos of my boyhood bedroom wall with requisite car posters............

You wouldn't get away with the crazy assed dog antics some drivers get up to in North America, the idea that someone would think it perfectly acceptable and in no way unsafe to drive with a small dog on their laps is mind blowing.
