Work out a ton.

@battra92: Can you think of a charity they would really enjoy supporting? Making a donation in someone's name can be a great gesture, especially as a gift for someone that doesn't really need anything. If you do something like [www.kiva.org] you could even pick out something you think they would like to support, or

@Chispea: My parents managed to raise me and my sibling without going (completely) nuts. I'd say raising a few fully functioning members of society qualifies them for awesome status. Plus they have a trampoline.

@Hasteur: I was thankful for my awesome wife, friends, and family, and having a job.

First snow of the season was this week, so I celebrated in my traditional way: Hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. I always for get how good it is.

@all_in_wonder: Just because something is "culture" or "diversity" does no make it good. Diversity that beheads women for making a decision about who they will spend the rest of their life with is diversity that I would not mind seeing die out. The world would be a richer place without that type of diversity.

@dawyndham: Because stopping corporations from doing whatever they want is Socialism, which is basically Stalinism. If there is one thing America is not, it is a bunch of Stalinists!

@trisham: It is giving a gift to someone else. We both like giving to charities, so we typically try to find something we think the other will like.

Has anybody tried participating in Kiva loans? My wife and I like to give donations to a charity in the other's name for our Xmas gifts, and I think she would like this because she could reinvest the money if it is returned. Any tips, warnings, success stories, etc would be welcome.

@ddmeightball: Use the windows key+arrows. You can make it snap to either half of whichever monitor the window is on. If you want to take the window to the other monitor, use Win+shift+arrow.

@Clixx13: You have obviously never worked with customers. There are absolutely people that have the attitude that since they pay for goods or services at a business they are "the boss" and should be able to do whatever they want. I agree that it is a ridiculous sentiment, but people ACTUALLY THINK IT.

@Clixx13: And which part of that paragraph indicated to you that this was a joke? I reread the entire paragraph, with context, and I'm still not seeing it. Especially considering the amount of animosity leveled at these people, if this was a joke, it was very poorly executed.

"They're expendable workers. I own this place. I'm the boss. They work for me. The only reason I don't fire them is that they're cheaper than robots. Etc"

@pwnerjam6.0: Check back later for the app deals of the day.

@akidderz: The 122 days to invasion thing really pissed me off. I could have completely filled the treasury given enough time, but instead half of my kingdom was massacred. I had noticed the days jumping by good increments, but never 1/3 of the days in a single jump. Sad..

@CamJN: I had a lot of trouble with Handbrake, but I've been successful with DVDShrink. You may want to give it a try.

@Wes: Nice work! Keep up the progress and enjoy the results!
