On a lark, I downloaded and installed Jolicloud on my desktop as a 3rd boot option (win7, Ubuntu, Joli). I now want to remove my Ubuntu install and just use Win7 and Jolicloud.

@31337h4ck3r: If there is a simple solution to this, I have yet to find it. It pretty much always ends with me absolutely destroying the packaging with scissors, knives, brute force, flamethrowers, laser eyes, etc.

I just finished the last day of week 6 on the hundred pushups challenge.. maxed out with 70 on the last set today. I'm pretty proud of the progress I've made; when I started I could only do about 20-25 pushups.

@castor_t: Occasionally.. the most recent fun run I've done is the Warrior Dash:

The field of weight lifting seems to be an area where everyone is an expert with the "real" best way to do things, and everybody thinks something different.

@Charliehorse: I think we agree that local governments should keep roads paved to an appropriate level, such that farmers should not be forced to gravel their own roads.

@Charliehorse: People in rural areas can get internet access. They may have to get satellite or dialup, or (gasp!) go to their local library or a friend or relative in town.

@oolz: I made no claims about game balance. I said it makes the game less fun. I even qualified it with "for me and others I play with". And this is an indisputable fact.

Oh good.. more items with crits, or mini-crits, or slowdown, or other zany crap that makes the game terrible with more than 16 people on the server. It seems like every new weapon just adds another crappy way for people to spam.

If it isn't enough that you will feel better, lose weight, gain confidence, live longer, reduce risk of pretty much all diseases, and (depending on the exercise) meet people... Maybe this will put you over the edge to get out and exercise!

@That-One-Person: It is a magical and revolutionary idea. 5 is not aesthetically pleasing enough.

@EBone: Thank you! I was hoping somebody had said this already. More partners != more sex.

@shua.jo.m: A caveat to this is that I feel absolutely no shame about blocking obtrusive ads, such as things that automatically make noise or pop up over content that I'm viewing.

@fauxtrot: There are a lot of different types of revenue models for ads. My (unconfirmed) assumption is that the majority of ads are per-view. The short answer is yes, there are ads that websites get paid just for loading in your browser.

It may just be me, but I don't mind ads playing before I access free content. I don't necessarily watch all of them, but I feel like I'm paying my admission for the free video I'm getting. It is the same reason I disable Ad-block on websites that I frequent. If you are getting value from something, help the provider

@zross312: I can't provide much detail, but the Catholic church still technically opposes in-vitro fertilization.

@RCDuke: I didn't see any info either way on the website. I'm running 2.2, so I couldn't say about 1.5.

@malificient.priest: I just have mine set to do all that good stuff during work hours. I'm almost always working the same hours, so 8-5 daily works just fine.
