No, I think it freaks people out because the US election will actually happen then.

I'll never know that kind of love; I just have too many unpopular posts in me trying to get out!

I was just thinking the promotion and ad-buys alone outside actual production costs. I may be using the wrong industry term.

"A year from November" is lot clearer though.

I hear that lots of innocent people get killed, so that's not so cut-and-dried.

This has to be the most expensive P&A in cinema history, right? Maybe not inflation-adjusted, but in raw dollars?

Silver-Age Superman would invent Super-Condoms. One more reason why Silver-Age Superman is Best Superman.

They used an Alan Parsons Project joke?

"What other names you know; you got a lot of relatives, right?"
"Yeah, but these are all the ones that are only kind of Jewish-sounding."

When I heard about Bats marking people so they'd be murdered in prison (but that meant he didn't specifically do it) I was like "fuck you movie". When I heard someone literally drinking Luthor's piss is an actual plot point, it was more "actually, forget it - you aren't even trying."

I think it'll do very well opening weekend, maybe awesomely and everyone will breathe a sign of relief but then will have an awful multiple and by the time the theater run is over everyone will be all worried again. Jobs may even be lost.

You're not getting your Electric Blue Superman no matter how much you want it.

He can be John Goodman.

Oh, we're getting the Justice League movie we deserve. No doubt there.

Because this way they can do both.

But think of all the people who can talk about how much it sucked for years to come! All that cheap party banter; you can't put a price on that!

I dunno; I'm getting a "should play Wilmer Cook in a remake of Maltese Falcon". I know remakes are evil incarnate, but it would be cool to see a version where Spade could be a full-on asshole surrounded by modern A-level cinematography.

No, I've watched it and am sure I'm nowhere near Catholic enough for any of the themes to impact me. It was creepy at times, but I didn't much care for anyone and when it was over it was like "okay?" I also saw III and thought it was fine but as scary as any random Law and Order episode.

Yeah, in Hope and Glory the orgy scene just came out of nowhere.

When you have the director of Zardoz running the shoot, you get that kind of thing.
