It would have to be a "people will be talking about this for the next decade" kind of bomb for something like that. Like a job-ending, regime-reorganizing, $3 million-weekend-opening level disaster. As-is, it's probably seen as at the bottom of the YA first-tier adaptions, will get enough tweens and their moms in to

"Marge, it takes two to lie: one to lie and one to listen."

I do like movies where you get in the protagonist's head and yet start to find yourself realizing they're the ones in the wrong, or at the very least that the "bad guys" really do have some pretty valid points and the hero would be a lot better off if they accepted some of them. I remember in Summer of Sam thinking

Not network though. No constant ad breaks, S&P, need to appeal to people just tuning in.

They were already dead inside.

Wham! eventually chose death. Or breakup. Whatever. Though as a kid I was curious if they really meant all that as anti-abortion, but figured as Brits they probably weren't that familiar with American political slogans.

Very few humans lives fit onto standard "Save the Cat" type docudrama arcs and event check-off. But that sure as shit hasn't ever stopped anyone from trying anyway.

Comedies about comedians - worse or much worse than dramas about writers?

This just reeks of "we're getting into the Superhero business, and going to keep trying until we get some of that sweet cash even low-tier Superhero movies generate". It gets lots of internet write-ups and probably social media stuff, but it's probably a dead end. Superhero stuff relies on F/X, spectacle and concise

As a nerd kid, I was huge on authenticity (mistaking it for quality) and I hated the damned cloth uniforms. They never looked right, didn't match the rubber heads and got looser, rattier and dirtier the longer you owned them.8-inch rubber superhero dolls would have been so much cooler, but no; cheap, crude cloth suits

I'm not saying I want an entire generation extinguished in one calendar year, but if it absolutely has to happen, hopefully it's before November.

On one hand, having a famous dad means you get mentioned in the media when you die. On the other hand, if that's the only reason, I'm not sure it's so great.

Smokin' Aces?

They could have come for the AV Club first. Probably should've, too, just for the practice. Swifts can be a squirrelly prey.

She seems like a nice lady, but she's a female actor, which means she's old now. So no more interest creeper attention.

Did they have any clear beverage version of something that shouldn't be clear? That's pretty much how I rate decades now.

Joan Crawford has risen from the grave, indeed.

Disqus, snarky romantic advice and insane Taboola ads are what we have coming, when you think about it.

I haven't decided if I'll see this. I skipped Man of Steel because while I liked the first trailer, everything after that was like "just kidding; this shit blows". But the only Batman movie I never saw was "and Robin", and everyone hates that. I don't hate Snyder but he's superficial and unable to see the forest for

Ack. I'd hate to think what you don't like!
