@Mr. S.: It's probably the typical "yeah that seems legit" date that GameStop stamps on a lots of games to get pre-orders. On 3DS launch day that day will become some other random Thursday in early December so they can say "Fall 2011."

@Sturm: I was thinking the same thing. Man Was Told?

@MyPonyRocks: Thank you for the dialectic info. Could you now tell me if there is a common term for a homosexual relationship in the UK? I'll be on the lookout for the female version from on, then.

@Manly McBeeferton: Red Alert? Homefront? Halo? Gears of War? StarCraft? Any of those fictional wars ring a bell? ;)

@Duuuuuuude: I'm glad you also got to enjoy Duke Nukem and Commander Keen! I played them when I was like 5 or something. I just wanted to be sure that everyone knew that there was a Duke Nukem that came before 3D. All is well if you already knew that :)

Wait, it says "her partner"? Can't help but think that she legitimately enjoys the fact that her female character is topless.

@Duuuuuuude: Just one thing. Be careful when you say "original Duke Nukem." What you meant to say is "original Duke Nukem 3D". The original Duke Nukem was a side-scrolling action game by Apogee and was completely different, other than the fact that you're shooting aliens and Duke generally looks the same.

...but... but can it play GLaDOS?

wonder if V Cast song ID would find this song. Doubt it. Grooveshark doesn't have it either. For shame.

So... who contracted malaria during the making of this film? Or, more likely, whose blood was it? Tell him/her his/her blood cells need to work out more! Stop that pesky parasite.

@Natdude: Miyamoto himself is excited because it does actually enhance gameplay. How? He said ever since he made Super Mario 64 he wished that he could show it in 3D because it would make it much easier to judge depth. Better judging of depth in a game with a 3D environment makes for much better control.

@LucasReis: Buy Street Hooker: Night Fighter today! ;)

I don't think I understand the whole region-locking problem at all. If you import a 3DS from the US into another country... can't you just also import the US games too? Why wouldn't that work?

You heard it from Totilo, himself:

So why are people complaining about the price so much? What's that fancy inflation calculator say that $250 from 2003 inflates to today? $300? $350?

@kyoshizen: If you had said, "it's not like having your teeth pulled" then I would agree with you. I don't think anyone enjoys getting their teeth pulled. Some people enjoy pulling teeth, according to another reply here.

@Britton Carroll: I remember playing the boss in the first game and thinking that the cave must go on forever because I never ran along any walls. I was so focused on Gohma that I just assumed that it was a MASSIVE cave filled with baby gohmas.

@PajamaSam: Also, keep in mind that the vertical resolution is cut in half for 3D (each eye requires half). If you click the 3D slider to 2D, though, it should be the full resolution. I don't know if that's the case.

@ExistentialEgg: Who needs a house when you can have... a 3D virtual augmented reality house! That's right, folks. Just place the AR House Card on the ground, point your 3DS at it and VIOLA! Your very own house.

@Weezle41: Based on the trailer I saw, I believe this is how it works: You place the card on a table or other flat surface, and start the "AR game." The camera detects the card and displays real-time video of the table and card to you in 3D with super-imposed baddies in it that you must interact with, i.e. shoot. It
