More disruption is needed for EVs to make sense. Serious disruption. Nikola Tesla envisioned a world with free energy, where you just extend an antenna to access the electricity you need. He patented the method of wireless power delivery over long distances, but big oil has kept it under wraps. The technology exists.

Getting a bit depressed and frustrated about a ticket is healthy. It means you are a responsible human who cares about road safety and are constantly pursuing and promoting better motoring. You care about your driving record and understand the hardships insurance companies put on careless drivers. I salute you and all

100%. We already have relatives, friends, co-workers, chauffeurs, Uber/Lyft/taxi drivers, bus drivers, limo drivers and train operators for those times we just don’t want to drive. All of these human drivers are still so much better at it. Teslastans really just want to show off their cool shit, and don’t seem to mind

Nature has the answer. No magic or sci-fi. Anti-gravity was probably pioneered in this world by dung beetles. Just look at them fly and wonder how those tiny wings can lift those seemingly too big insects gracefully through the air. We just have to re-discover the physics behind it.

Nature, Earth, provide us with Free Energy. Earth is a giant electromagnetic generator. Nikola Tesla knew this. The same principles at play to feed data into your phone could theoretically also power an electric vehicle down the road with no batteries, wirelessly. Big Oil/OPEC knows this, but they keep this knowledge

EV cost to make the jump: $5000 or less, used.

They are just not comfortable with making the current reliability/safety/convenience/durability state of electric car tech available to customers. I wouldn’t be either.
