So the going exchange rate is three AV Club articles for one Variety article?

It’s hilariously bad faith to drop the grade of a show because its title sequence was made by artists in a slightly different way that social media decided We Don’t Like.

And as a bonus: Since this is a season 2, it’s using the same title card as season 1, which means no bad-faith automatic letter-grade drops like Barsanti did on Secret Invasion!

I fully support the new trend of if a multiverse is involved, you have to cast Ke Huy Quan

I’m entirely judging these books by their covers, but they look exactly like the kind of women who are racist but get bent out of shape when you point it out to them (“how dare you, I’m the least racist person you’ll ever meet!”). They also look like “mean girls, now in Lesbian variety!”

She was using it as liberally as a Southern woman would’ve used Aqua Net in the ‘80s.

Bring back the surprisingly good TV series instead, you cowards!

It’s so interesting to see this comment repeated endlessly

Spoilerz: Ain’t Groot

Can you imagine the smug look of satisfaction on their face while typing that phrase out?

American Made was, as I recall, a somewhat charming and meandering movie. It’s nice watching Cruise play a dirtbag.

I’m sick of calling these “reviews” at all. Why are they not just labeled recaps?

Welcome to AV Club!

“It’s a shame then that it’s hard to root for AHS: Delicate completely considering season 12’s first part filmed during the WGA strike. The scripts were complete, but picket lines were crossed anyway. Kardashian herself tweeted from the set. (Production eventually shut down after SAG-AFTRA went on strike.)”

Such an odd review, with such odd, hyperspecific critiques that don’t speak to the overall quality.

You already admit that you don’t know what the story is about but continue to dig deeper into “I still don’t get what the big deal is” territory.

The fact that you can’t tell the difference between telling a “man walks into a bar” joke and what Hasan did is...fairly shocking.

The problem with Minhaj is that his fabrications go into very creepy, manipulative places.

In general terms perhaps, but I think the situation does become greyer when it comes to the kind of Nanette-eseque “this is My Truth” autobiographical-confessional-didactical strain of stand-up comedy which has become a lot more common of late, where the whole point is that the comedian is supposed to be expounding

CK hasn’t been on TV though, right? Like no network has hired him. He toured and released an album but no one is trying to put him behind an anchor desk.
