If you have copies of the original, stamped import paperwork it should be fine. I just sold a Land Cruiser with no title from MA to NH. The paperwork from the port, customs broker etc and a bill of sale were adequate.

All true. Here's some more misery.....
I like Corrosion X better than fluid film.
I've imported loads of Toyota land crusiers and this article terrifies me. I once imported a 1973 Land Rover series 109". The shipping clerk accidentally typed in 1993 on the paperwork. It was offloaded in Savannah instead of Baltimore and was to be crushed. I basically had a few days to prove the typo and save…
I absolutely love being a patriots fan. If he keeps the truck, he's a dick because Butler was the last minute hero. He gives it away, he's a dick for not wanting a cheap truck.
Getting tags for it in CA might be tough. Call Specter Off Road in Los Angeles. They could probably answer better than me
I owned a 1973 2-door range rover that I imported from AU. That thing was awesome.
Welcome to MA. I went to college one town over from there. That area is filled with sketchy car dealers. Typical Massholes I see everyday. Probably the same dicks that blocked I-93 in Boston this morning.
I agree. I bought a 2014 Mazda 6 right when they were released and I've had many people ask me if it was a Ghilbi. One of the guys was a body shop owner. It's impossible for anyone to bash the looks of 6 and not feel horrible guilt
The EPA emissions requirement is only 21 years which is nonsense since a car cant get into the country through customs unless its 25+.
As a guy who just picked up 2 Aussie Land Cruisers at the Port of Baltimore today, I am glad that's not me. Whoever bought this knew exactly what they were buying and actions have consequences.
plugs were for the T/A and the Old Man. Just tune up costs for each car
I'd be happy to write that up. Its a pain in the ass and a boring read but happy to do it. Maybe people can get some Skylines over here
buy them for a few thousand and ship them here. they are like 1980's chevy pickups here in the US, nobody particularly cares about them. Prices here are obscene...thats why I had to start flipping because I couldn't afford to buy one I wanted
The stencil was cool but was only on one side and there was a bunch of small nicks and scratched that needed to be painted over to prevent rust
CA would be tough. If its 25 years or older it could be on fire and you can import it.
This was completely for fun and to see how far I could get. Its not a get-rich-quick scheme by any stretch. Every morning when I wake up at 4 am I spend 30 mins in bed scouring classified sites all over the world. Definitely a passion....an odd, odd passion
Soooo..... I am the anonymous author. A google image search would quickly find me. I was a bit paranoid about taxes etc but since they were all trades then I'm covered.
I just bought a BJ42 LX model with the 3 windshield wipers and I could see that going for over $20k. People are asking the world for these things...unfortunately there are 1%ers that are happy to pay it
