Exactly i got very confuse when i started to read this and thought i was missing something. This isn’t counterintuitive it’s pretty straight forward. The made me waste a few minutes of my life because apparently some people doesn’t understand ratios.

Also, if you assign dollars to it, the premium you pay for a hybrid vehicle (vs gasoline) makes it even less of a value (sometimes so much so that it takes 10+ years to recoup the extra expense).

Right?! What the hell did I just read. 50-18 = 32. 50-34=16.
How is is that counter intuitive?

Yeah, it’s pretty counterintuitive

That’s for sure. If you buy a car, any car, hoping to make money on it you’re doing it wrong. By all means, buy the classic car of your dreams. But do it because you love the car, not because it makes financial sense.

I’m not talking about proof anymore. I’ve conceeded that to you.
