Oh God, fuck this. I have my misgivings about it too, but I am so done with entitled dipshit fans like these.

Please keep doubting Damian Lillard.
That’s the best way around this whole thing. T them up a few times early in the regular season, and by Christmas it will be all but over.
Tonight Doc Rivers truly became President
Why is the narrative always that when GSW loses, it’s because they checked out, but they’re still obviously the better team?
I feel incredibly fortunate to get to watch Dame in person. Great player, great teammate, leader, he does a lot for the community too and is completely committed to the Blazers organization.
I’m always so confused by what Gabe tends to focus his analysis on. A guy that averages like 14 and 10 went for 20 and 18 in a home playoff game and it’s completely shocking and unprecedented? Huh? Portland, the 3 seed, won it’s opening game against the 6 seed (which fell to the sixth seed by playing terribly over the…
Saved from getting swept? It’s game one and the blazers led wire to wire. We aren't surprised in Portland.
How is this surprising? Kanter’s been playing like this since he joined the Blazers. Kudos to Kanter but this is like... way down the list in terms of interesting storylines from this game. PG13's shoulder, Logo Lillard, McCollum of all people getting T’d up, Russ’s knees...
Should have ended it with “ - one last thing: Metroid Prime Trilogy HD is now available on the Switch eShop!”
Nothing triggers a poorly paid writer’s schadenfreude than another writer hitting the jackpot.
Given the nature of politics surrounding the state of Israel in the American context, Prof. Hill should have known that black intellectuals, politicians, clergy, activists and entertainers are not allowed nuance when criticizing Israel’s treatment of the Palestinian people. For black people you are either pro-Israel…
And so the real villain here is ... the NBA’s salary cap and max-contract system! The Warriors have plenty of money and likely would extend Green’s and Durant’s—and Thompson’s—contracts into outer space if bad rules hadn’t been put in place to attach ludicrous penalties to doing so.
I was confused by that too. I guess the argument is that a team should be able to spend whatever it wants, without cap or max handcuffs, and create a natural market where player talent is compensated to its own rate — this rather than a prescribed formula that takes the onus off of the owners and puts it on the player…
We take the side of decent people and say “Fuck them both.”
Draymond Green doesn’t think he’s ever been wrong.
I don’t see how the salary cap is the problem here. It’s doing exactly what it was designed to do - keep some semblance of equity of talent between teams. This is, admittedly, coming from a slightly salty Cavs fan, but still. I don’t like the idea of an NBA version of the Yankees.
So much less hideous than everything else on the market here right now. Seriously, there are no good looking SUVs outside of Jeep. Someone give me SOMETHING to get excited about.
That's no way to talk about our president.
I don’t even want to respond to that nonsense, but at the same time: he was there because he was hired to work on a farm by an influential Republican because that is how our nation has dealt with farm labor since before most of us were born. At least on the ground level, there is bipartisan agreement to keep doing it…
