Poor Jenni Farley and her children. I’m amazed she was able to leave, that’s the most dangerous time for DV victims and money helps but it’s not a guarantee.

Especially given that she had clearly flagged that she was a survivor, was triggered and was dealing with that as she was being interviewed.

Right? And we all know that question would be inadmissible in court.  It’s just a lawyer trying to get her to say something damning during a deposition.  I’ve never asked a stupid hypothetical like that during a deposition because there’s no point. 

I’m an attorney, and I do Title IX law. Last year, I had to get some last minute continuing education credits, and signed up for one of those all day seminars. The second presenter was a female attorney who was presenting on how to defend sexual assault cases, and she actually bragged about how she could do underhand…

That “what if your father raped someone” question is absolutely fucking disgusting. I know the lawyer was just doing her job etc but JFC.
