Am I the only one here who doesn’t give a flying fuck about flying cars? I mean I am not against looking forward to the next big technological progress but this seems like a futile exercise.

Yeah, this looks like a screencap of GTA 3 on a 480 monitor.

That was my first thought as well. But dear god, how is it I get 4k from my nest cams and these fuckers can’t get a clearer shot than this?

As a courtesy shuttle driver for my hotel, I know that the guests really like our 2016 U324 Limited. Big and stately with heated and cooled leather seats for the front two rows. It only gets 9.6 MPG downtown, but we live it, because the only way we can get more MPG is to probably go hybrid/electric.

Let’s be honest though, even the greenest American’s lifestyle is not good for the environment. Short of forgoing modern conveniences and living like a pre-industrial person nothing is going to change that. A car with better mpgs is just a drop in the bucket. I’m no climate change denier, but I have become somewhat of

I am so fucking sick of the contrarian, safety squad (TM), losers that seem to have infiltrated this site over the last 3 years. IM ON A CAR BLOG TALKING ABOUT CARS BUT GASOLINE IS BAD BECAUSE CARS ARE BAD (or something?) SO I HOPE THE PRICE GOES UP FOR NO REASON.

One vehicle I have is a ‘17 Silverado with a 5.3. Real world mix of highway and city driving I average 20mpg, 18mpg below 10°F. Honda Ridgeline or Odyssey, with 80 less horsepower, the same driving would get 21-22mpg.

So much this. My Expedition burns a ton of gas, but it’s the perfect vehicle for my family’s needs, and it’s payed for. $500+ a month truck payments on a newer, more efficient one buys A LOT of gas for both the Expedition and the boat.

Angry? I’m only angry at little boy-racers in their stupid little sedans who cut in front of me while I’m towing or hauling. Like, congrats, if you slammed on your breaks you would win a Darwin Award.

But why do you care about the semi-moronic buying habits of your fellow Americans? Some people like driving SUVs and pickups but don’t really utilize their full capabilities. Since you are reading Jalopnik I’m guessing you have an interest in cars. Do you think people who buy an M3 or GTI have semi-moronic buying

As embarrassing as it is to say this, the current Navigator/Expedition/Tahoe/Suburban crop out-MPG my 4Runner on the highway by 5+ MPG and basically match the observed MPGs in my Volvo. And I drive like a, well, old man.

You’re excited about expensive gas? Cool for you.

I rented an Expedition EL while in Florida last year. Averaged 20 MPG the whole week, mixture of highway and side roads. So not too bad all things considered.

I dunno, I’d rather have a Mustang II than any Beetle ever.

Jokes aside, I don’t know where y’all get your delusions about Canadian politeness because its not a thing.

Looks pretty peeved alil tho doesn’t he.

Yeah but let’s talk about the panel gaps

Dear BMW,
