It's funny to me how most Michiganders talk so highly of Ann Arbor. When I moved to Michigan, my new friends were all like "Dude, you're from Colorado, you'll love it out there!" and in actuality, I hated it because it reminds me of Boulder, one of my least favorite places in Colorado.

Actually, the big engine in the Taurus was the 3.8.. but the Duratec's were great engines.. beat a couple Hondas in my Grandma's Taurus Wagon back in Highschool. I worked at the Ford Technical Hotline, and they said a lot of the problem was going from the bullet proof 7.3 that you could skimp on the maintenance and get 800k out of, to a 6.0 that required regular scheduled maintenance.
