What used cars were that cheap in ‘91? I want to say that my mom bought a bare bones, manual everything, no radio Lynx in ‘86 or ‘87 for about that much. Her Hyundai Elantra she bought in ‘93 was around $10k.

I do love Renaultsport Clio’s. I owned 2 different 182's when I lived in England. A guy in my town had a Phase II V6 that was absolutely beautiful.
Except the one you linked is NOT a turbo or manual, which is what makes this specific Forester much more valuable.
The auto’s are hard to get rid of, everyone who wants one of these wants the manual unfortunately.
Link to a manual XT with no rust, minimal mods and has less than 150k miles for $3500?
This is a NP all day every day. Most people on here do not understand how much turbocharged Subaru’s are worth. They are one of those cars that KBB does not logically value (like the S2000). The only one in my entire region for sale (a 2004 XT manual) with 120k miles is $8800.
This is beyond NP. Its the cheapest decent condition XT I have seen for sale recently.
KBB and Subaru’s do not match up EVER. This is probably the cheapest mostly stock XT in the entire country and I bet it sells in a matter of days.
Exactly, I know for sure which one I would feel more comfortable not leaving me stranded after 75k miles and its NOT the BMW.
Cant help to admit I am rather dissapointed with this. I would have rather seen a proper high performance Toyota engine with you know, Toyota reliability. This thing will make great use of the Toyota warranty after about 25k miles.
Left there a year ago. Still speed camera’s everywhere.
Does not sound like you have been to Scotland lol, the cops are few and far between. 99% of traffic enforcement is via camera’s.
My Mom would have a new Taurus every 3 or so years and my Step Dad would have a new V6 extended cab ranger about as often.
Chevy warranty’s suck. I had a 2006 Silverado and in mid 2007 I had bubbling paint and rust on the roof of my truck, just above the 3rd brake light. The kicker is that I kept the truck washed and waxed religiously and oh yeah, I lived in the freakin’ California desert. Chevy told me to get bent when I took it in for…
You are driving your STI in sport sharp arent you (you wont see full boost in intelligent mode)? Because I also have a 2018 STI and its way quicker than its HP numbers would suggest. As a comparison, I have owned a 450hp supercharged Jag S type R (water/meth injection and increased boost), an LS2 GTO that was modified…
LOL, good luck finding a decent WRX of any year for that price. I would look Civic SI.
Weren’t these the V6's that had the timing chain issues?
Warm start issues are classic symptoms of low compression. I had a 12a that blew an apex, ran like a champ when cold, would barely stay running when warm, and good luck restarting it.
I read the fine print on my GAP coverage (Navy Federal CU) and it pays up to 150% of the cars value period. It makes no distinction on previous loan balances, tax, etc.
You want scary, I was driving a Landrover 110 with the TD5 engine, loaded down with work equipment on the wide open autobahn’s around Hamburg and north of there. Flat out, I was a permenent fixture of the far right lane lol.
