No thanks lol. I have a place I can park for free up in Ruislip that is a 5 minute walk to the underground station there.

Black cabs are way more expensive than renting a car would have been!  Whenever I am in London I just whip out my oyster card and take the underground.

I agree, I was driving the autobahn from the Polish border into Berlin in a Focus diesel wagon, flat out. I was getting passed by minivans and SUVs lol.

My favorite: Skoda Octavia diesel manual. torque for days.

Very happy, we went in, test drove the car, did not negotiate on the price they had sent me via email (they had also given me a ballpark figure for my trade). I called my bank, was approved, drove to the bank to pick up the check and drove our new STI home. It took them longer to wash our new car than the entire

I tried to do the same thing, but I had a really hard time getting anybody to work with me via email.  The one dealer that did is the one I ended up buying my car from.

I agree about the American dealerships.  I was looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee...the salespeople did not even acknowledge me.  I looked at both a Raptor and Focus RS at 2 different Ford Dealers.  The showrooms looked like they had not been updated or cleaned since 1985, not the kind of environment you want to be in

In the UK, when there is a lane ending, signs encourage you to merge at the very last moment.

Yep, I have driven all over the world...does not matter where, there are idiot drivers.

Ehh you can go overboard on roundabouts too...my time living in the UK taught me that. Fuck you double mini roundabouts. And for good laughs look up the Magic Roundabout In Swindon.

The rumors I have seen in the past week is a 2 year contract has been offered to Kimi, one year guaranteed, 2nd year as an option if he is still performing.  Ferrari would be stupid to replace him right now, he is consistantly on the podium week in and week out.  No outright wins, but he is doing what he needs to, and

Weird,I travel to DC some for work and personally think the subway system is not too bad at all. At least there is functional public transportation there!

My father in law sold his 01 9-5 in the Ventura area for like $2000 within hours of it hitting CL lol. Good ones go quick. this was probably 3 years ago.

Had an 01 9-3, pushing around 300hp for more than 30k miles (on the tune and mods). Only issues I had were destroying axles (the long one) and the thermostat stuck open at around 110k miles and it kept destroying 5th bow limit switches for the power top. Kept a spare DI cassette in the trunk just in case but never

You cannot find a Raptor on the lot that does not have that $13k package on it! I know, I tried.

Nothing significant. Nothing even remotely on par with the Raptors mid-travel suspension setup.

When I was living in the UK last year these were selling for US $3500 MAX, with the IS200's about half of that! Kinda spoiled me on used car prices. Along with a salvage title? CP all day every day.

Agree, I had a 68 Ford F100, 3 on the tree, a big block, drum brakes and manual steering, every single drive was an arm workout. I daily drove it about 25 miles each way for a couple months!

I lived in the UK for a few years...its not hard to find a Friendly MOT inspector. And I think most used car dealers just put a “paper MOT on the cars they sell in my experience.

I was shocked when I looked at Walmart and saw their prices, I had to do a double take because I thought there was no way it was correct lol. They give you a discount if you pick them up at the store too!
