On a side note I had a 206 GTI 180 I actually enjoyed, but it was cammed, full exhaust and mapped.

My JDM Galant VR4 has a rear wiper.  It rules.

I dont think it was on purpose at all, it was just a race incident plain and simple, he locked up and there was absolutely nothing he could do at that point.

Yeah thats was impressive.  And he drove like a beast in the periods of the race when he is normaly on cruise control.  Overcoming a 10 second penalty at the front of the pack is a very impressive performance.

Blue book on the last S2000 I had said like $5000. I sold it for $8500. Blue book values are completely worthless. It also says a 2011 WRX should be worth $8-9k max, you wont find one selling for less than $13k.

To be fair though, any petrol car that is over 5 years old is only worth about 100 pounds in the UK. I lived there for 3 years and bought up all the unloved Clio 182's for next to nothing lol.

To be honest, I will usually ask if they are flexible in price before meeting.  Of course I dont lead off with that on the first text.  But I usually have to drive upwards of 3 to 4 hours to look at cars and want to make sure they are worth my time.

The 2wd versions of these are popular in SoCal to turn into prerunners.  SoCal= no mud 99.9% of the time, this thing has all the chops it needs to blast down a desert trail at 40.

It sucks because the B13 SE-R was completely badass and even the B15 SE-R was a revelation when it first came out (although they never seemed to give it any meaningful updates after introducing it).

On a side note, how do you like that Fit? Im thinking about an older manual one for a daily.

My JDM Galant VR4 with less than 80k miles was comparitively cheap even after all the importation fees, etc. The fast sedans are awesome! Although I would love a Silvia Q’s, Evo IV (I know its not much different than what I already have lol) or GTS-T Skyline one day.

I miss living in the UK...all the stupidly cheap hot hatches. In the time I lived there I owned: 2x Clio 182's, Seat LCR, Skoda Fabia VRS, EP3 Type R, Accord Type R, R53 Mini and a Peugeot GTI 180. I did not spend more than 2700 pounds on any of them!

Which is why I am looking for a stockish GSR for a daily so my JDM Galant VR4 can sit in the garage lol.

The issue is that they put as little effort as possible into the vehicles they DO make.  Maybe if they had a vehicle that caused some excitement it would help out everything else...maybe a new version of the Pajero Evolution or something since people want SUV’s now.

Thrust bearing issue really only affects the last couple years for some reason, although a more aggressive clutch can wear the thrust bearing on the older ones. A clutch interlock bypass is the safest bet and takes 5 minutes to do.

Yeah still a EJ block.  And this one had unfortunately been tuned to agressively I think.  It had an overpressurized crank case and a nice faint knock to it.  Guess thats why the guy was selling it for 3k less than the next comparable ‘11.

Mine stays in the garage 99% of the time.  I really should drive it more lol.

Great, make me miss my S2000 even more now. Most stupid decision I have ever made was to sell mine a couple months ago (even if I made money off of it).

Would only be a NP at this price if it had a fresh rebuild. 90k is getting to apex seal or corner seal failure time regardless of how the engine has been treated.  I have owned two.

Love me an RX7, I had an 85 GSL (I think, fully loaded but with the 12a) that was an absolute blast to drive, it handled like nothing else and was so smooth...until I blew an apex seal.. Then I bought a 88 TII from my brother with a blown apex seal. Put a new streetport atkins rotary motor in it, new turbo, etc. That
