My timing sucks ass, when I was looking for a new car last summer the dealers would not budge off MSPR in my area, my wife won out and we ended up with an X3 (even though I had Focus RS/WRX STI dreams).

I could only be so lucky that my E92 328i would catch on fire (I kid, I kid). When will recall notices go out?
Crack pipe, you can import a legit gt4 from the U.K. for the same price (yes they are that cheap there) . Although the 5sfe is a non-interference engine which is nice.
Such a beautiful bike, I too have a deep love for early/mid 90’s superbikes. I used to have a ZX7r that I loved.
Neither BMW I have has a spare, the X3 still has the factory Pirelli P7 run flats on it (horrible) and my E92 has run flats no more (much better, but I make sure I have roadside assistance on my insurance just in case).
Nope, widely known that the NHB ones are fastest. I had a 53 plate CTR when I lived in the UK, loved that thing.
THE metro was a perfectly fine city car that got fuel mileage that is hard to beat even today. The storm was a good little sports coupe that looked decent.
Probably due for a water pump/thermostat/cam chain and timing belt job (yes, these engines have both a chain and a belt). About 1k for that work at an indy. Then that’s not even addressing the dash pixels and most likely worn suspension. CP as much as I love these.
Had an 01 SE vert from 60k to 130k miles, never had any major issues and the ones it did have I was able to fix in my garage.
Had 2 type R’s when living in England, I had a Pirate Black Accord Type R (2000) that was beautiful until I discovered all the hidden rust (bulkhead and forward chassis rails, you had to LOOK for that rust) so I sold that for a massive loss. I also had a 53 plate EP3 Type R, that car was FUN, and at 166k miles still…
It seriously takes 5 minutes to get used to. I drove my US spec Genesis coupe in the UK and I drove UK spec cars all over Europe without an issue.
LOL I was thinking the same thing!
Yup, you can pick up MKIV Supra’s for under $6k US, Skylines about the same. I had a PERFECT condition 2004 Celica 6spd I almost had to give away, got 1100 pounds for it. Renaultsport Clio’s you can get under 2500 pounds all day in good shape, I had a 53 plate Seat Leon Cupra R that was pushing over 300bhp that I got…
Last I saw was some on the cliosport forums, but that was a while ago. Point being, they are much, much cheaper in the UK, list most used cars.
I absolutely love these cars, having owned 2x PH2 Clio 182's back in the UK. However there are a few issues I take with this one:
It would be fun with a BAM in there. Had one in my Seat Leon Cupra R back in the UK and that thing was a freakin rocket!
To me, last season’s TGUK was hands down better than TGT.
Just moved back to the US after living in SW England for the past 3 years, I concur. Population of 2017 with road infrastructure of the 50's.
I agree with you, I bought a ‘13 3.8 coupe new in early ‘14 (leftover) and the dealership experience was hot garbage. I traded it in on a CPO BMW X3 a couple months ago, and the BMW dealership experience in my town was so good, when they got an ‘08 E92 328i in for a good price I bought it partly because the dealership…
I always wanted to get a picture of those signs but was always driving at the time lol.
