The one thing the UK gets right is they open the hard shoulder as another lane when traffic is heavy.

In n Out in amazing. I have had expensive burgers all over the world and I will always go back to In n Out. You cannot touch the quality of food for anywhere near the price.

Trust me, I would get a 3 series if I could, but so far the 3x X3's I have owned have been great as a family vehicle, I can get dog crates, bikes and surfboards in the cargo area, along with a 14 year old. For my family the X3 is a good compromise of handling, cargo hauling, towing (can tow a 5x8 enclosed full of

Tiguan is the Q3, SQ5 is equivalent to the Macan, no VW comparison on that size. Touareg is the same as a Q7/Cayenne (talking basic platforms here).

Ever driven a X3 or X5? You would swear you were driving a 3 or 5 series that was just a little bigger.

I think my issue has more to do with the massive performance gap betwen the 280bhp version and the 500bhp+ Q version. They have no 340i/440i competitor, and the 328i can be had cheaper if you keep the options low and watch for the incentives.

Its relevant because the roads here are absolutely chocked full of diesels from the early to mid 2000's.

All that I have seen have been around the M25 area, I have only seen one out here in sleepy Somerset

The only one I think looks decent is the package with the Q4 alloys, and those are like unicorns. In addition, the HP numbers are a bit low and the prices are pushing 4 series gran coupe territory. Wont be long until we see a repeat of the Ghibli sales tactics (20k off MSRP).

Was borderline...saw 2.3-16 in the engine bay. anything with 2.3-16= instant NP if under $10k.

Meanwhile in the SE you can get Focus RS’s for $3-$4k UNDER MSRP!

I was just going to say almost the same thing. Just drove back to my place here in the UK and was behind a 2005ish A4 diesel. Going up a hill it was belching black smoke (not rolling coal levels, but enough to be visable for sure).

Beige-ey/Gold-ey 944's are best 944's. Here is my ‘83 I had during HS/College circa 1997. Non-power steering model, A/C non-functional, but damn it was fun to drive. Went from Indiana to NC, Indiana to Colorado (where I drove it all winter while working at Winter Park Ski Resort), then back to Indiana then on to

When I had my 944 I would always haul one friend sitting sideways in the back seat lol.

Sad, those are less than 1/4 of the price here in the UK.

My last X3 had adaptive Xenons...best invention ever, I refuse to own a BMW without the lighting package now.

Actually I could see it going for 50k+ on some of the desert/prerunner/race truck sites.

Thanks for that, I like the idea of a simple piggy back and now I think I might look more seriously at the new X3's. (I want to find either a 128i or 328i coupe for myself then lol)

Oh yeah I know all about the X3, I have owned 3x E83's and we have always loved them, we had a base ‘04 2.5i back in the states that we put 40+k miles on before trading it on my Genesis coupe, a 2005 M sport 3.0i here in the UK (we though we wanted something smaller, sold it and regretted it immediately) and finally a

I need back seats and preferably 4 doors, that eliminates the Cayman or Boxster, the Golf R puts me to sleep looking at it...plus long term reliability, STI is not too bad, there are a few leftover new 15 FE Evo X’s, but they lost the amazing Recaro’s for ‘15 so that is really crappy. Meh I dont know, maybe I will
