That was Celes. Time to play through it again. :)
I definitely feel like the general zeitgeist regarding Woosley and FF6 has had its ups and downs. When the game was first released, I think most folks thought it was just fine, and then as the internet exposed other viewpoints, there was a really strong backlash against him for quite a long time. It seems to me that…
That is definitely one of the things I prefer in FF4 over FF6, as well. I think FF6 is still a better game overall, but that part of FF4 does appeal to me a great deal.
It was released on the Wii VC a long time ago. Not sure what's keeping it from the other systems.
And 2 was 4! Or vice versa. :)
Yep, I was 14 when it came out and it's one of the few games I ever preordered. I couldn't even get to the mall from the farmland where I lived until the second day it was out, and I was fiending for it even with the $80 price tag.

I am not a game developer, though I work in the casual game industry; however, when I did start toying around with web development, a Final Fantasy VI fansite was the first…
In the interests of being both too lazy to write a full post AND self-promoting, here's a podcast I did for my site last year specifically about why Final Fantasy VI is awesome: http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/news/article/f…
Yeah, most every national team does every year now. Getting almost as bad at the club level too.
I remember playing Baseball on my GB as a ten year old and finding "FUKU" on one of the Japanese teams to be the best player name ever.
Sporting fan, Liverpool fan AND articulate argument? If I still lived in KC, I'd buy you a beer at the home opener.
Perhaps they can make the whole assembly rigid, too!
Yeah, Joey Barton thinks this whole mess is overblown. :)
Perhaps it's due for an update!
