My baby daughter missed her first game a year and a half ago because of the pyrotechnics before SKC games, scared her to death and we ended up having to leave just after kickoff. It's a bit much.

Ha ha, I said the same thing about emulation filtering when I talked about this in my site's latest podcast. Well, at least I think I did. I can never remember what ends up on the cutting room floor.

+1 for a joke most won't get.

Not shocked, actually! I don't really bother with the bars there anymore anyway.

I'd move back there in a heartbeat if there were more to do and better jobs for me and my wife. Oh, wait, that's why I haven't moved back.

What's the bar at the top now? I think when I moved away from Springfield it was still a jazz place, and I was there far too often. Haven't been back there in the dozens of times I've visited since.

You'll Never Sink Alone.

Yep. Job, website on the side, non-gamer wife, toddler at home. I managed to play one match in FIFA yesterday on six-minute halves. It was the first time I'd played it in a month.

You pretty much have to break someone's limbs to even get a yellow in my pub league. I can't fathom a pickup game with a yellow card.

First MLS gear I ever owned was a MetroStars t-shirt from the inaugural season. I bought it because it had the taxicab illustration from their first branding on it and I thought it looked cool.

The look on her face is amazing, ha! Clever for your son, too. :)

The next mouth to feed has to pay his or her own way. :)

Thanks. I had my mom do most of the hard work, as I really am terrible at sewing.

Here's the Chell, since I don't think I posted it last year:

I do Halloween lazy by just dressing my daughter. She's much smaller so the costumes are faster and easier to make. Last year she was a little baby Chell, this year a White Mage:

I'm for any club signing Wynalda as long as it means he never gets to speak about soccer on TV again.

I'm a Cards fan (third generation) but live and work in MA now. I can't even go to Facebook this morning without frustration.

Was just the first thing I thought of when I read "old man" and knew the game was at Anfield. Was a bit of a joke, you see.

Haven't watched yet, was it Jaime Carragher?

And Houston puts the screws to Kansas City for the third year in a row. Couldn't bother to show up for one game, Dynamo?
