Then it’s no longer a free market, is it?

It’s OK; that guy was already infected with the Andromeda Strain.

Uh, the REAPERS. It’s like you’ve never played Mass Effect!

Holy crap, what is ON that X-37 that requires people in that level of containment gear?!

So it does exactly what a 2013 Ford Fusion and a host of other affordable cars already do? OK.

...And who gets to decide who lives and who gets “eradicated”? Because if it’s not you (and it probably won’t be), what if it is decided that *you* should be eradicated?

...Unless, of course you were talking about people with diesel pickup trucks modified to “roll coal,” in which case I agree that they should all be

I actually had a car that recommended 89. It was an ‘08 Avenger R/T. It was a total piece of shit, but it was slightly less of a piece of shit when you put 89 in it. The engine definitely had more power.

I believe the Hemi Rams also require 89.

It’s always a Pontiac G8?

Also, that Facebook group is freaking fantastic.

Emergency vehicles with their “lights on” are supposed to slow down as they approach a red to make sure cross traffic sees them and stops.

To be fair, it’s USUALLY the Camry’s fault.

This is pretty cool. The first book I ever read on an eBook was Les Miserables, and the formatting was horrendous. It was clearly an OCR of scanned pages, and there were a ton of issues with spacing, incorrect letters (2 Vs instead of a W, 1 instead of l), wrong punctuation, etc.

I would totally drive this for a yearlong road trip tour of the country.

Actually, that’s kind of my plan. When we retire, my wife and I are purchasing a loaded full-size SUV like this and just taking off. Our plan is to visit every National Park.

Yeah, this article is crap. The outside air temperature on all my cars is usually within a degree or two.

And, contrary to the author’s claims, the thermistor is actually mounted in the lower grille opening, NOT between the headlights.

It’s like the author doesn’t know anything about automobiles...

My 2014 Ford Fusion has adaptive cruise control and lane assist. If you take your hands off the wheel, the car starts beeping at you and flashes a message to put your hands back on the wheel.

Teslas should do the same thing.

“You could push this across the line. Or tow it?”

I think that might be about $50k too high.

OMG this. Got an SUV? A “bob” hairstyle? Guess what, you’re already a soccer mom, and you’re not fooling anyone by driving a Honda CR-V instead of a minivan.

Some dog owners are dumb as shit. My Corgi IS super friendly, but I don’t let her get close to any dog who I don’t already know for this very reason.

...Pretty sure they’re already doing that with the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Edge, Escape, etc.

People buy crossovers because they’re “too cool for a minivan; that’s what moms drive.”

Except for the fact that a crossover is just a minivan with less useful doors.

In 15 years, people won’t buy crossovers anymore because “that’s what moms drive.”
