Different comment systems are a little more clear on replies, that’s for sure. I sometimes have trouble sorting this out also. Kinja isn’t perfect, but at least people generally have something to contribute. No worries about the confusion; it seriously does happen to me a lot!

Eh? I don’t want to be in front of a guy that wants to go faster than me on any road. Speed limit doesn’t factor in at all in that case. It’s irrelevant.

So, according to you: Honking your horn = illegal & bad; Passing on a double yellow and one a turn = illegal, yet perfectly acceptable.

Yes, I have a basic understanding of that. It was unclear to me what all Chase was asking me to consent to so I declined. I was uncomfortable with some of their language.

Yeah! Dam air!

If he got a card or loan from them in the past, they’re legally obligated to send him what they used to make their decision that resulted in a hard pull (regardless of the decision).

I assumed Discover was pulling it and sharing the score.

If you pull it, it doesn’t count against you.

A hard pull will affect it, but shouldn’t by that much. It depends on the size of your file, though.

I just did my taxes and bought a car. I was able to get 3 “scores” along the way. If you use TurboTax, they have a free score from Experian you can access using Mint, another software thing of theirs. It returned 800. Went to get a car loan from Pen. That’s a 20 point difference! That would have made a difference in my interest rate if

Damn, so how many years has it been since your dad has talked to you?

Luckily for me, my main motorsport these days is WRC, which isn’t a great experience in person. It’s easier to sit online watching highlights knowing you’re not missing much

When they ask you what car to buy, nobody EVER wants a real opinion from a knowledgeable enthusiast. The choice has already been made, maybe even long ago, and they ONLY want validation of that choice. But even when they don’t get validation of their choice, they still go ahead with what they were planning on doing. I

Came to post this, knew I didn’t have to though. I mean look you can get a new Camry SE or an off lease CPO C350. Both are going to last you a good amount of time, one is a bit more on maintenance. But if you say you want something sporty in a sedan and you ignore my advice don’t complain about the fucking Camry.

To be fair, this is true about advice for many of life’s decisions. People are just goddamn idiots.

Behold! The Cayman we've been waiting for! The GT4 has everything we've ever wanted in Porsche's mid-engine sled. It
