I’m sorry but you clearly haven’t paid enough attention to the show. Carol’s breakdown doesn’t come from the kid being mauled of. She wasn’t even there when it happened. Her guilt comes from watching a Wolf (who she was going to kill episodes before but got stopped by Morgan and his ‘every life is precious’ bs) save

That was not a Tommy gun. That was some kind of automatic pistol, like a Skorpion or something similar. I’m kinda surprised she hit as many of those guys as she did at that range.

The crazy little girl had just murdered another little girl so she would turn into a walker, because she thought they were her friends. She was a danger to everyone around her, and had to go. The sick people would have spread disease to others and were already going to die, she just sped up the process while trying to

The wolves wore Ws carved into their foreheads. That’s pretty telling about what group they are in.

Sick people maybe but the little girl was a total psychopath and an obvious danger to anyone around her, I think what Carol did there was more merciful than psychopathic seeing as they couldn’t keep her with them, especially with the baby around, and a quick death would be arguably more human than leaving her to fend

It makes sense when you hear Melissa McBride explain it. Carol doesn’t want to kill anymore, but if she stayed in Alexandria she’d have to kill to save her “family” — or be unable to kill to save them, which is just as bad for her. So she leaves.

The little girl had just murdered her sister and was about to murder the baby! She had to go. Also the sick people were about to infect the rest of the people in the prison, and then they’d all be dead. What would be psychopathic pre-zombie apocalypse is just pragmatic in the new world.

I hope you aren’t saying that Carol herself was fragile. She was pretending to be fragile. And she was doing that to beg for mercy so she could come up with a plan. There really is no other way she could act that would buy her as much time.

Glenn and Maggie have been consistent in their inability to remain together for one fucking episode.

First Dwight is a savior not a wolf. Second I look at the Carol 180 like this she kills because she has to not because she wants to. She got to Alexandria and got to go back to playing caretaker and realized she missed the normalcy of life before the zombie apocalypse. Its okay for her to be tired of killing even

Both things can be true. I also took issue with the author’s insistence that Carol was never a stone cold killer. I can think of literally like 3 times off the top of my head when she was. Sure, her kills were always “justified”, but that doesn’t mean they’re not still stone cold kills. Her story is still a kick ass

I believe she was supposed to be 11. Just curious: What would you have done with her, considering she killed her sister, fed and played with zombies, etc.?

Yeah, that kid was SERIOUSLY fucked up, and I don’t think there are any practicing child psychologists accepting new patients.

I don’t have a problem with her arc one bit. Its very easy to have one traumatic event bring up a past you try to forget or think you have a handle on. Maybe Sam (about the same age as her daughter) was that trigger. Any vet who suffers from PTSD will tell you that its pretty easy to lose it. If troops trained for

I disagree. Those murders, whether we would have done the same or not, were reasoned, well-thought-out decisions. Killing the little girl, in my opinion, was the only choice, since she had already murdered her sister and was a danger to herself and everyone who came in contact with her.

It was left vague who his little group was tied to, if anyone, in the first encounter with Daryl. Definitely not a wolf, though (no “w” on the forehead). It’s still, even after last night, a bit ambiguous if they’re tied to Negan and the saviors or just another random group of killers since they haven’t explicitly

I thought the crying was just an added element to her cheery housewife shtick. After all the tickets it’s gotten me out of, you better believe that shit will be part of my apocalypse repertoire.

It’s obvious from this write-up that you don’t watch the show (e.g. Dwight was not part of the Wolves). If you haven’t been paying attention, perhaps your opinions are misplaced?

The fat pad was removed from her top lid which allowed it to form a crease when she opens her eyes. I’m not even sure she had a sliver of lid removed as they could have because she still has hooded eyes in the first picture.

People sometimes do it for medical reasons - the eyelids tend to get heavier as you age. (Which can interfere with sight.)
