If this story isn’t a metaphor for our future, I don’t know what is...

I went Nice Price.

2 door Chrysler 300 with a nose job.

The problem with trains is their path is so unpredictable, so often swerving at random.

There are actually a lot un ungated crossings with nothing but a sign that account for most of them, but going around the gates was just asking for it.

Not the VW scandal I was expecting!

The same people who bitch endlessly about politicians being corrupt and useless are the people who vote for reagan over Carter and trump over Biden, and somehow never make the connection.

“He tried to leave America a little better than he found it. He attempted to warn Americans about the challenges we’d face over the next five decades. Our own legacy shows we were completely unwilling to heed those warnings.”

You’re looking at it from the wrong direction. The news isn’t about someone popping out a dent.

Boxing Day, and you couldn’t find a Subie? WTF man??  :-)

I had typed up “I can’t believe this hasn’t sold already at that price, easiest NP in a long time” and went to click on the link to check if it was a salvage title. Lo and behold, it’s gone already.

Easy Nice Price from me. 3 years ago I sold a ‘14 S4 6 speed for more than double this with a few less miles.

No more than the spider-esque Alfa 4C original headlights.

Sweet, the new Firefly is out! Again, we won’t get it in the States.

It’s definitely checking the boxes for me. Has a stately, almost Bentley thing going on that I kind of dig.

That’s about $1000 more than my mortgage....  (And my car payments are currently $0.)  I can’t even imagine that level of financial irresponsibility.

Both were sales failures in North America, in particular the Phaeton. Who wants a 100K VW instead of a BMW or Mercedes.

“hey, you know how we had fun with the New Beetle interior, and how fantastic of a job Fiat has done with the retro and cheerful interiors on the 500s? Don’t you fucking dare do any of that shit” - some design executive to his interior team, apparently.

They’ll probably sell a good handful of these, because there are still people paying 60,000 plus for Wranglers.

The 05 Phaeton W12 had an MSRP just south of 100 grand. The Arteon is 45-50k depending on spec. VW hasn’t limited themselves to budget cars in a long time. And frankly no VW is a “people’s car” anymore - the demand constant thorough maintenance beyond what most Japanese cars require, they eat oil like it’s canapes at
