So, you’ve committed insurance fraud, know you were caught absolutely red-handed on a dashcam, know that the footage has gone viral, know that the cops are actually looking for you, are in Ecuador, and actually fucking come back? New and impressive levels of stupidity.
This is the epitome of a Q ship. It could cruise all day at ludicrous speeds and not attract too much attention.
It’s funny, in their latter days Oldsmobiles were watchwords for generic, uninteresting design, but that broad, simplistic styling has made them age into pretty solid examples of 90s/early aughts design. I like this.
Absolute NP. Lots of potential buyers for this thing — new/teen driver, collector, middle aged nostalgia buyer, summer/beach runaround car, FL retiree, or frankly anyone with a $4K budget that needs something generally reliable.
I’d buy it.
Ok good PSA there, as I drive a Mazda.
“Zoom-Zoom”
Unfortunately for Fiat, there aren’t a lot of places in the U.S. where its small size is an advantage, so it’s a little surprising that Fiat decided to offer it stateside.
People will call the Bronco Ugly and somehow find this thing attractive.
Not exactly. For one thing, the C7 Corvette and 991 and 992 911s have had 7-speed manuals for years.
Base model comes with a manual? Check. 4x4? Check. That’s something I would buy. Even has an I4. I would love this thing.
I guess all those people who said you could only survive this in a Tesla were wrong.

This isn’t the first time a police chase has led to disaster
Haven’t done quite that much, my record was driving from where I live in Texas along the southern border to Cali up the west coast to Seattle, then back through Loveland Colorado back to home in like 13 days. Don’t know how many miles total but it was a lot of 12+ hours days of straight driving.
How does Hertz still have customers when they keep having everyone who rents from them arrested?
I actually ate at one of those for lunch - fantastic Hibachi/Sushi place here in town. $20, all you can eat in two hours. But it is clearly posted on the front door, at the “wait here to be seated” podium, and in big bold letters on the menu itself that there is a two-hour time limit. Fair enough, and I can put a good…
I once had a local Uhaul rental that lasted about 6 hours (we were preparing to move and I drove a bunch of stuff to the charity shop a few blocks away from our house, total trip might have been 4 miles) that, when I returned, they wanted to charge me like $800 for mileage ($1/mile). I argued with them for 45 minutes…
LOL right, also unlimited means UNLIMITED unless it says it’s not in the fine print. But also how the hell do you drive 25k miles in a month. Like 1000 miles a day is almost 15 straight HOURS driving 70 mph. I like to drive but damn. That’s like driving across the US almost 9 times in a month.
