When you’re at a rest stop on a long road trip and you want to take a nap, do you get out of the driver’s seat and move to the passeneger seat? Because the “driver’s seat is only for driving”?

It’s not the figuring out, they know how. The problem is, they had signed a deal with their OEM navigation supplier Tom-Tom to have vehicles equipped with navigation be restricted to corded smartphone mirroring to try and encourage owners to use the baked in nav.

You don’t have to actively be driving to sit in the driver’s seat and relax.

The Buddy looks great. The Rock Star is dynamite for how it pays homage to the Vette in a good way. But this thing...yeesh. Talk about pounding a square peg into a round hole, it simply does not click. You can see some Challenger influence if you really squint, but the car is such a bastardization of shapes wedged

Hyundai’s styling department just keeps rolling out the hits. Car looks great.

Some Mercedes features will do this and will suddenly slow the car down to the speed it’s posted at. It made me so mad so I turn it off lol

“HAL! Speed up we’re still on the interstate not the service road.”

I’m not necessarily opposed to this, but I can definitely see potential issues. As an example, my GPS will occasionally think I’m on a service drive next a highway. If I’m going 75 and the GPS suddenly thinks I’m on a road w/a 40mph limit what is the car going to do?

The NTSB determined the Challenger driver’s use of cocaine and PCP impaired his decision-making...”

Well look at that, a Challenger has ruined everything for everyone forever. Who could have predicted such an outcome.

As someone who does their own work, these are great value. You gotta know how to work on them, and be willing to — but well worth it. I got a W212 E550 this summer for 10k and it has been great. Couple items out of the gate it needed (Starter motor, motor mounts, swaybar links). Motor mounts were a pain, but nothing

Dude these trucks are 56 - 83K$! why? who’s paying over that amount for one? It just looks like a normal ass truck.

Bumper to bumper life time warranty! *

A lot of it is just the class of car. You buy a large luxury sedan because it has the latest features and looks like money. After 5 years, it no longer has the latest features and looks like the old model (no longer money).

Guess that’s why they depreciate so fast. The people that can afford them wouldn’t be caught dead driving an older model or one *shudders* previously owned by someone else!

They depreciate like this because there is little value in the used car market for someone to buy one of these without a warranty.  I had a friend ask me about Audi, as I drove an A6 just previous to his question.  I told him to go to cars.com or some other car sales website and do a search for high end European cars

and what is $1mil to state farm? I mean its a lot. but are the typically giving out huge payments?

I think you underestimate how many people overextend themselves with these kind of cars. Sure a lot of buyers probably come in and pay for their audi with a personal check that doesn’t cause a noticeable difference in their balance.

it’s like saying “no offense, but...” and then saying the most offensive thing they can muster up

For all the disagreement that exists in the automotive space, I think we can all come together on this one:
