I like this way more than I should, but I don’t $20k like it. Smyth was the outfit that was doing the New Beetle and old Jetta conversions, and have been doing these for some time, and the work looks damn good, I hate to admit. I just couldn’t see myself paying that amount for this though. Reluctant ND.
(shrug) this is allegedly what “everyone” wanted and voted for, so let them lose. I mean, in the end it will be (take your pick) Biden’s/Obama’s/Hillary’s/the mailman’s fault...anyone except the person/people who put this sort of thing into play, of course.
“As for European buyers, VW says that this test proves that the ID 7 and its wagon variant are ideal for families who want to take long distance drives.”
I saw this on the AP yesterday as well, and while the VW was obviously the star of the show, anybody know what this one is that also seemed to have survived, if a bit dirty? Couldn’t decide if an older 4-door Blazer or 4 door Pathfinder (or neither):
Glad someone here gets it. People complained about how it should have had a V8 or more power or whatever, but let’s be honest; no one has (or would) drive one of these things in anger without getting themselves killed in the process. Not to mention the constant bitching about “omg, this company/that company made…
I didn’t even think it was possible to purchase a vehicle with that amount of miles (well, a mile); I thought even from the factory they would run them a few miles just to make sure everything was ok, but I guess that isn’t the case here.
Yeah, my 1980 Triumph TR-7 never came with a passenger side mirror (and I live in one of those states listed that claims to require mirrors on both sides/all around); it was never an issue, and the car always passed inspection and I never got a ticket in it. That said, I added a matching aftermarket mirror to it cause…
Before I even got to the end of the article, I thought “this has to be a California car or an Arizona car”, cause this is super clean. All original, one owner, decent price...definitely going with NP here!
Yeah, here’s a white one with all wheel drive for $49,998:
That’s the interesting part; the employees apparently can sit around and pass videos amongst themselves with no issue (other than, idk waiting for a sexual harrasment lawsuit to pop up when they pass it to the wrong employee), but the person related to the person making the videos is the one who gets in trouble?
And meth. Lots of meth.
That Lexus “December to Remember” sales event just got interesting...
Not that Tesla’s design did anything for me to begin with (I am OK with the original Model S, and the roadster, which wasn’t their design to begin with), but I think the bar looks better on the Y than it does on the Cybertruck. There is too much of an expanse of bland, flat metal on the truck, which is just emphasized…
Mystery solved!
Yeah, as soon as I saw this article, I thought “Well, selling 2 cars instead of the 1 Mitsubishi somebody bought in 2024 -is- a 100% increase, so...yay?
No big deal-probably just a Kardashian out on a grocery run.
Yes, and no?
I figure they just liked the look of the V (but perhaps not the price), as they didn’t go all out with actual badges, the yellow calipers, etc. Also, when Rob mentioned the “V-badged front buckets and leather seating surfaces both front and rear”, those are just the standard seats; the actual V models had a large…
This part caught my eye:
